Three SciFi Artwork

I created these 3 SciFi artwork in glass frames a few years ago, using PhotoShop and Illustrator software. They were exhibited in a gallery with a grant I received back then. Do have more saved in external hard-drive.

Click on these images in order to see them bigger.

First one is a big bee-like creature flying. The second one is an android with a virtual reality goggle seeing people in infrared. The third one is a genetically-modified person with high-tech implants and other wearable devices.

Cat with A "Cat" Sign Language Greeting Card

I drew this cat out of my head on a sketching book with a pen. I then used color pencils to create those Cubist-alike shapes on the cat's face and the two hands. I then put a quote inside where you would read it when you open the card. Saw a framed picture of a cat with the "Cat" sign language in a gallery one day and realized that I could do that for a card, therefore, I came up with this.

If interested in getting this greeting card, I can print it out. $2.00 for one card with one envelope or $24.00 with 12 cards with 12 envelopes.

Shakespeare's Immortality Poem with Dangerous Signs

I wrote this poem in English a while ago. I reopened the poem and edited it to enhance the quality of the work. I then brought it over to show Dangerous Signs the writing and then we all worked on translating this work into ASL in an interactive performance as a group. Here we were able to perform this "Shakespeare's Immortality" poem at the Little Theatre for Rochester's Fringe Festival on September 24th, 2016. I shall thank my mother for video-taping this performance.

Dangerous Signs, Saturday, Sept. 24th

I and Dangerous Signs cast members are to perform on September 24th, 1 PM, at the Little Theatre downtown Rochester, NY. It'll be free to the public. We got a critical acclaim article in the City Newspaper, mentioning our last year performance and how we almost got into American Got Talent TV show.

This year performance, we will be doing creative tasks to honor Shakespeare. No, we will not read and or perform Shakespeare's work in traditional ways. Instead, we will do songs that refer to him like how Patti Smith, well-known Godmother of punk singer/poet, mentions Shakespeare in her "Looking For You" song. We will translate that song in ASL all together as a group in interactive activities. Another example is "I Hate Shakespeare" by Spamalot play, which we sign along that song in ASL full of humor. Also, my original work "Shakespeare's Immortality" will be performed in ASL and it focuses on the fact that his work is still alive today. Other work has just mime activities without sign language, dance movements along one Shakespeare work (Romeo and Juliet), and many other experimental ideas.

This show will be unusual and unique.

Poetry Performance at MuCCC

I will perform my spoken words poem (recorded) and translate it into ASL while doing the dance movements, mime, and acting on June 21st at MuCCC downtown Rochester . It's titled "The Universe". At the very end of the poem, Bjork's "All Is Full Of Love" lyric will begin with just "all is full of love" sentence, which will repeat a few times until it fades.
Here is one paragraph of a poem, just to give you a glimpse:
I keep going until I see a Milky Way galaxy float in front of me
Where our home sits on one area of its arm.
It spins like a giant ballerina with a huge tutu, riddled with illuminating pearls.
I glide further away until my eyes see trillions of galaxies,
All connected in gigantic glowing webs.

I am currently learning how to sell my card designs through Esty webpage. Here are the three I created so far. There are a lot more in my Esty Shop online. It's a challenge to figure out how to do the tasks, using Mac's Pages software, which already have a few card templates I could use. As the reality comes, it will take time before I actually get the cards sold. I will eventually create traditional cards like weddings, birthdays, holidays, and etc. down the road.

Enjoy the 3 images of the card. Click on them in order to see them bigger.
